The following maps were designed for the Imagining2050 project and used for a participatory mapping activity during two citizen stakeholder meetings – one in Athlone and one in Ballincollig, Ireland. Participants were asked to draw, write, or label how they would like their city to look in 2050, marking key areas for change.
Below, the map for Ballincollig. Zoning here was made more obvious through the use of patterns.
Stickers were also added to support the activity.
